Kenny Smith has been employed with Compton Engineering since July 2007 as a resident project representative at the Bay St. Louis office. He defines his job description as project inspection and contractor compliance (herding cats). He and wife Ruby have been married 32 years and have four children, Ken, Cher, Victoria and Nolan. They also have five grandchildren.
Pets include a rabbit, assorted fish, and a turtle.

Kenny’s hobbies and interests include fishing, hunting, swimming, reading and gardening. His first vehicle was a 1955 Ford Coupe. His first job was working on his Uncle’s cattle ranch. Other occupations have included nurse, computer tech, carpenter, loadmaster, deckhand and employment counselor. His favorite meal is shrimp. His favorite candy bar is a Butterfinger. Kenny’s favorite holiday is Easter. His dream vacation would be a trip to Austria. His dream car is a 1967 Chevy Camaro. If he had tomorrow off he would work around the house or go fishing. His pet peeve is poor driving skills. Something he does that he doesn’t think anyone else at Compton does is Massage Therapy. His favorite sport is football and his favorite team is the Saints.
