| Civil Engineer | Compton Engineering is seeking Civil Engineering candidate to design projects such as water and sewer transportation, grading and drainage, hydrology, roads, bridges, channels, airports and railroads. Construction oversight may be required. Responsibilities also include estimating costs, preparing proposals and estabshing completion dates. Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, passing the Engineering Intern exam is a must and 1-2 years of experience in the field is preferred. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience with MDOT and/or State Aid projects helpful. This Candidate will work directly under Professional Engineer with the goal of becoming registered in the State of Mississippi upon gaining experience. Ideal candidates will be a self-motivated, hard working, detail oriented, and personable with a team oriented attitude.
