  • Work Resumes On Waveland Pier January 8th, 2015 - Waveland, MS *** Repair work has finally begun after many delays and hold ups on the rebuilding project for Waveland’s Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier. The pier, which was damaged in Hurricane Issac, has been closed since 2012.  Although hard to see from Beach Blvd, there are a lot of repairs that are required. Near the end the pier, many concrete panels even have holes created by Issac. We are pleased to see progress on reconstructing this great asset for the City of Waveland. Although final completion dates can depend on weather and other factors, we are optimistic that it will be completed on schedule.
